This is a horror themed piece. I'm not sure if I'm done with it, you can never finish an art work, it's when you stop working on it.
I tried to focus on making the souls around the devil girl as freaky as possible and yet making the devil girl look aesthetic. It's about this devil girl who summons the gate that acts as a bridge between human world and the realm of evil. By opening the gate, releases evil souls ready to possess every living things out in the human world. This one took about 4 hours. It is my first time using Painter IX and Photoshop CS2 together. Although Painter IX is really a complex program, at least for me, compared to Photoshop, it really brings picture to life. Anybody who is experienced in Painter, please give me suggestions. This is another blood elf I did. Inspiration came from a Rogue Character named "Veleera Sanguinar" from World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. I don't play the game because...well..it would not help me get better at digital art. However, my fascination of Wow's story, especially the blood elves, motivates me to draw them more. I'm willing to add and revise this picture more to try and perfect it.
